Max Liao – Product Design Director
Max has over 15 years experience in the field of industrial design and product development. He graduated from industrial design at Tatung University in 1990. After graduation Max started his career as an industrial designer, working for a Taiwanese product design consultancy. In 2001 he moved to Skanhax Technology Corporation, filling a role as a senior design engineer. At Shanhax Max played a key role in the development of high-end digital cameras, later winning a Taiwan Excellence Award in 2004.
From these experiences Max gained cutting edge knowledge of product development and manufacturing in Asia. In 2008 he joined Detekt as a Design Manager, later progressing to Product Design Director. Max handles a number of important operational functions, from product planning, resource allocation to design management.
Max also holds a masters degree in Design Management from Tunghai University, Taiwan.
